Day 4 was a good day, but long. We started the day with a trip to Pepin, Wisconsin for stops at the Museum and birthplace of Laura Ingalls Wilder. We got to Pepin before the Museum opened, so we went to the reconstructed log cabin at her birthplace and viewed it before coming back to Pepin for the Museum. After finished with Pepin, we headed to the Twin Cities. We crossed the Mississippi the last 2 times for a total of 8 crossing during our trip.
Our first stop was at the Giant Stucco Snowman north of St Paul, then on to the Mary Tyler Moore Statue, Giant Spoon and Wienery (Diners, Drive-In & Dives) for lunch. We then headed for Mall of America.
Our first event at the Mall was the Aquarium then I took Donny to the Nickelodeon Amusement park in the middle of the Mall while Naomi shopped. After about 3 hours of rides & shopping, we got back together for one last trip through the Aquarium and dinner at Johnny Rocket's before a long drive to Springfield, Minnesota for the night.
We arrived at the hotel around 11PM, I was able to get the pictures uploaded the next morning due to a rain delay.
